Those infinite exclamatory and question marks are my cousins
And “you” are my friends

The world is a complex dictionary
Some of us are Nouns, Verbs, etc
Regular or irregular
And all of us are meaningful and important
And none of us can be erased form that lexicon
If so, the being glossary will be incomplete

We are words
And live in the world of words
A few of us are high frequent and some are less
Some of us are summarized in a short single line
And some are interpreted by more than one world
Some of us are proverbs, idioms, slangs
And even taboos

We are words
And stand for our thoughts
We are flags of our thoughts kingdom
And we are symbolic movable signs of our thoughts
All of us are searching for good fortunes
And prosperity happens at minds
And our luck is product of our thoughts
And thoughts are spirit of words
And words are spirit of world
And the world is sad
And the words are gloomy
Each of us is a word
Each of us is a world
And the word is searching for shiny words
Oh, LOVE come and determine my candle of thought

Only a garden of delightful words
in which we may live and love ‎
is our high precious heritage of the whole past.‎
All of the kings and their subjects vanished
by the powerful hands of wind. ‎
All of us will also join them till midnight.‎
and the remainder of us is the same:‎
disappeared graves,‎
forgotten names
and broken swords.‎
For our lucky and optimistic ancestors ‎
the semi-precious treasure of us ‎
in which they will live and love ‎
is only a garden of delightful words
if we can cultivate now.‎
The rest will be winged till the dawn.‎

The bloodshed flourishes the frosty nights
when the devilish disbelievers ‎
abuse the holy names and books
‎-as the most effective hooks- ‎
to attract the cattle of misbelievers
and encourage them to fly to Paradise
by exporting other nations to Hell.‎

We were attacked in such cold gloomy nights
during our honorable bright history.‎
Let the Paper Tigers labels us Terrorists.‎
We love all nations and religions
and this peaceful faith is our first vulnerable spot,‎
for external abusers. ‎

We hate the ugly face of war
but love the purplish visage of defense,‎
and one who makes martyr of himself
is the real superpower,‎
and this is our next Achilles Heel,‎
particularly for internal users.‎

The faith tree

The branches of a tree
never fight against each other.‎
But we, users of its shade and fruits, ‎
dogmatically, break the branches
to make helves and arrow and bludgeons
for killing each other and cutting roots of the tree.‎
We even make cross to crucify Messiah.‎
Oh, what did we, Jacks of all trades,‎
do with the faith tree and religions.‎

‎…and they are picked and fluttered‎
‎…and the thorns come to throne‎
‎…and the opportunist gadflies wear the crown
‎…and the butterflies are slaughtered‎
‎…and the candle of peace cries till the next spring‎
‎…and the new flowers will be picked and fluttered‎
‎…and the new thorns come to new throne‎
‎…and so on ….‎
‎…and the spring is the shambles of flowers.‎

To Revive

A flower can return us to paradise
and put our connection to an endless end.‎
A flower can create us anew
and refresh our joyful missing memories.‎
And no differ whether a wild or a hot-house one ‎
Only a flower…‎

Only a flower?‎
Alas, what did we do??‎
We wrongdoer creatures destroyed and burnt ‎
One hundred and twenty four thousands
‎ gardens of real flowers.‎
And consequently, we, loathsome nasty sinners
were sentenced to wash our faces ‎
‎ in a cesspool of cruelty each morning,‎
breathe the putrefied air of discrimination till evening,‎
and go to bed with nightmares and devilish sex dreams.‎

Such a filthy place is our reward ‎
and the next hell is worse than this, if‎
there weren't any flower to return us to lovesickness.‎

Oh, my hidden flower
‎ all of the windows are waiting ‎
‎ for your reviving fragrance. ‎

He is the living symbol of peace and unity
and a complete combination of all humanistic virtues.
He is a polished mirror of all Abrahamic riligions
and a perfect scholar of all holy books
He is the real follower of Moses , Jesus Christ and Mohammed (p.b.u.t)

He is the shining sun of Lebenan dark nights
and the common hope of all peace-seeking people.

Oh God , put an end to our 30 years deprivation
and send back our Joseph.

where is he ?
In which well is he waiting for relief ?
I'm sure he was not eaten by wolves!
he is still alive
and we smell the scent of his torn shirt
return him to us
we need him.

Utopia

Peace is not a soup of DOVE cooked in OLIVE oil,
which is served at the geopolitical conferences.
It's the chlorophyll of spiritual flights.
Peace is not a symbol and a word
It's a sharp shiny signal of a bare right-seeking sword.
Peace is not a lowly give up position
but a powerful forgiveness exposition.
peace is neither an oppressor mind
nor an oppressed heart.
Peace is not an emotive remark
It's the essence of all desirable beauties.
Peace is not the antonym of war
It's the synonym of all virtues,
a combination of love and liberty
plus justice and security,
and lack of each is the sign of war condition.
The cold wars are more burning than the hot ones
a hot war may pick only flowers
but poverty and discrimination burn the garden entirely.
war is war and death is death
cold or hot, makes no difference.
Peace is not only reconciling between enemies
but strengthening affectionate relations among friends.
Peace is not a UN present for the victims of wars
but a heavenly gift for all the creatures.
Peace is the Utopia of all perfect men.
And the main lesson of all holy prophets
for us to have a blissful coexistence.
Peace is a without worry mental situation
in which everyone enters will be secure from all harms.
I searched all of the encyclopedias;
but didn't find a word which can play the role of peace
in the creation workshop, except a more perfect one.
If you found a better substitution
I would replace it with ISLAM.

One of the most precious resources of guidance for all aspects of the human's life is the narrations and aphorisms of Ma'soomin(p.b.u.t.) whose pure fountain-head of empyrean wisdom is current toward the dried lands of the spirirts of the luck-seeking people, offering them a green safe and successful life and delivering the disasterd ones to the beach of calmness and maturity by their rescue ship of light, in this stormy world of immoralities and triteness thoughts. Regarding to this subject , Imam Al-Baqer says: "Undoubtedly, our sayings enlive the hearts".
Accordingly, we decided to make you, dear readers, familiar with fourteen lightful narrations of the fourteen infallible ones (p.b.u.t) in this issue, and hope that these brilliant words may help us find our right way in this hazardous world.

1 - The best man
The holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: the best man is one who loves worshipping and embraces it willingly with open arms, and likes it heartily , being in complete contact with it by his body , and makes himself ready to perform it. such a worshipper never wonder how his life is passing, whether in calamity or in calmness.

2 - An important moral rule
Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) said : set yourself as a measure between you and others, everything you like for yourself also like for others; and everything that you dislike for yourself dislike for others. Be beneficent to others as you expet them to do good to you.

3 - Advantages of affability
Fatimah Al-Zahra(p.b.u.h.) said: affability towards a friend, reserves paradise for him; and towards an enemy, preserves him from hell.

As usual

A harsh gray flood was coming toward us.

How was it started?
Who was guilty?
Which royal boat would be capsized?
Who would win that blood-wave-riding?
We didn't know.
There was no time for thinking,
but as usual we only ought to be dammed against it.

The harsh gray-red-flood
was passing through our ever-ruined village,
and our ashes were dancing
in the memories of war-brides.

For centuries we have played the same act.
And now we, the forgotten victims,
are waiting for the next War.

Freedom

A bird can not change the cage
not the cloudy imagination of its blue ceiling
not the dusty thoughts of its grayish floor
and not the ironic temptations of its green bars.

When no way is to be released
and outside, are other greater prisons
and a free flight is not conceivable
and every soul has its own cage(s),
The poor innocent ever-caged bird
only can do one little task:
Smashing all drowsy walls
Changing the world that happens in its mind.
And uniting with the eternal decreed cage.

Life is a cage,
and the bird can love and enjoy it,
So as the death.

The bird can not change a cage
but can imprison it in its heart.

is the enmity summary.

The history of literature
has been written by all lovers
the literature of history
has been the dialect of rulers.

The history of literature
is so grace and sincere
it is full of the live words
such as "honey" and "my dear".

The literature of history
is filled with curse and terror
which was written dreadfully
by order of each Emperor.

The future is based on
the history and literature
The literature may rescue
the history as a teacher.

Evergreen Arms

He was as old as freedom,
and as red as martyrdom

He was born in battle-field
first thing, he saw, was a shield

under which, opened his eyes
and drank the milk of skies

His date of birth is written
on the wings of a pigeon

The only toy, he had, there
was a sword, sharp and bare

He was as kind as flowers
and lovesick as all lovers

On horseback, he learnt by heart
how to fend, to rush, to dart

He was fond of liberty
though his wealth was poverty

If you wanted his address
you could ask every cypress

He was as hard as mountains
stony, full of fountains

He planted in the grove-palm
his evergreen and tall arm

Though, was martyred this morning
his son was born in evening

He is as old as freedom,
and as red as martyrdom

Heavenly Hell

In a river of disheveled illusion
which goes to the ocean of nightmares and daydreaming
we have been flown and mixed to each other pacifically
borders, walls, or even silken-barbed-wires
never could separate us
no one could perform that unpardonable sin except ourselves
our(damned)selves
and nothing can join us again but love.

The very very tiny galaxy of our union beings
whose lovely song is heard from all the things
only by love may be discovered, a bit
a twinkling bit
as little as the whole universe, not more
* * *
See, I've disarmed myself
to speak to you in a worldwide language
-kiss and smile dialect-
our ancient mother tongue
let the kings quarrel in their rotten fortifications
till we make our forbidden, holy, sincere nest
in our twisted arms and united chest.

When love is killing and uniting us willingly
why do we foolishly kill and separate us from each other ?
let's enjoy ourselves in such a heavenly hell

will occurred, each second, before long,
not by the Nuclear Weapons and Radioactivity;
but due to the explosion of my Enriched Love
a pinch of which equals a Megaton Uranium.
When the world can see
the fascinating lover-killer-eyes
of my dearest beloved
all of the United Nations fall in a common love
and will taste the sweet savor of the real peace.
The advent is coming and

Date and Fate

The appointed date was coming
and I had prepared every thing beforehand.
At last the waiting ages would be over
and the sweet fragrance of infallibility
which had filled the space,
had the lovely news of my beloved arrival.
My lily emotion flower was playing with stars
which were smelling the aroma
of my scarlet-fresh thoughts,
and I could touch their enviable heartbeats.
My fantastic bliss was face to face me; but
I didn't know how to behave and what to say.
What affecting word had I to be put in advance?
Which one of my complaint-chilly stories
should be narrated?
How could I express my desires and requests?
What would I..? Which could I..? How did I..?
I was surrounded by wordless words; but
a horrible state was taking place meanwhile.
I wasn't confused but petrified.
My stony brain was barren of decision.
I looked like an icy statue in a frozen territory
full of emptiness; but
I felt a sincere warm healing stroke of sympathy
in my iceberg's heart.
A little lantern had been activated in me.
Who hanged it from my ice-covered feeling tree?
When was it put and turned on?
who implanted it in my drought parting centuries?
Maybe I had been sentenced to life by my beloved
and in this manner I was lanterned(!) to death.
I don't know; but when I opened my eyes again
I saw myself in a worse condition,
In an addled place,
among a collection of rotten dead bodies.
I was drowning in a fetid lake
and my mouth was full of decayed crocodiles.
Was I dreaming? No, it was a realistic world.
Oh fate, what did you do to me?
What was my mistake in the previous date?
The lantern was reviewing and correcting
my errors now and then, specially
from Tuesday evenings to Wednesday mornings
which was our new date.
How this new meeting time was appointed?
Who knows? but the lantern was more bright
and sensitive at these mysterious nights.
Wasn't this night the sixth day of creation?
I wouldn't understand these metaphysical words
of the lantern; but
I learned a fact from the lantern's existence:
A lover should be a lantern,
silent, bright, and without any request.
A lover should have many words to hear
but any to say.
All of the lovely words of a lantern can be
only a hello and nothing else.
My lantern is now waiting for for the new
Date and Fate.

Let them go and fly these modern-minded bugs
and fight against our peaceful fire-bird
put them at ease, let them try their best
though they deserve to be laughed at, you
follow the athletic ethic of victor combatants.
Let them go and fly these blind-hearted bats
and try to put out the sun's everlasting light
but remember not to laugh at enemy's corpse.
When a fly buzzes, even if disturbs you,
let it buzz its lecture in darkness, and be sure
that the wind will come and throw it away.
But you, My eagle, My heroic ancient spirit
that the hurricane cannot shake even your shade
and the typhoon is captured by your sharp claws
go on composing our epical presence.
You are the most honorable image, I've ever seen
when you are sitting still at the highest peak.
Only that stony horse can bear your epical weight
on which you sit and worship The Muse.
Give my best greetings to the goddess of poetry
and, on behalf of me, ask her if she knows
who taught and trained her bravest son, Epic
and encouraged him to kill the war-beginners?
And who took care of her prettiest daughter, sonnet
and made up the most charming bride of literature
to elevate the flag of Love and Peace.
And also kindly ask her whether she knows
that her dearest daughter and son, sonnet and epic
were accused of being tyrant and lewd
by some bugs and bats and cardboard cavaliers.
But tell her not to worry at all, since they live
in a lofty, firm and fortified palace
which was built by Ferdowsi and painted by Hafez.
And surely she knows her children's trainers.

Our ancient fire- bird, the phoenix, never dies
and today is the Millennium of it's heroic birth.
Today the old phoenix burnt itself, but
a newly born bird came out from its ashes.
The young phoenix is now inspiring all the birds,
and helps them to compose their crimson flight poems.
Nowadays, any free bird, I see in the sky
is dancing and singing epical sonnets
lovely and pacifically.

Charisma

Having a great pain of enmity
I was exiled to a stony moment.
My heart capacity was so low
and the ceiling of sky was so down
how insignificant were my desires
and how petty was my world.
At the end of loneliness
I picked up a stone heatedly
and threw it towards the rocks aimlessly.
and the adventure was beginning:
The stone was singing plainly
a heartrending lovely sonnet.
And I was sinking in its eternal charisma
Meanwhile its echo grew and grew
and multiplied progressively.
I could see and hear, by all of my cells
that all of the existence were singing
the same melody:
Find your place among us
you are a part of cosmos
we have the same beloved
who is the creator, indeed
no enmity or enemy
is in our dignity
your heart should only be filled
with love and love, in this field
love is an endless ocean
you should follow shoreless men
if you want a godly kiss
you must fight only for peace.

Even those broken mirrors
my dust-colored ancient memory
cannot restore my lost futures.
In this abundance of blessing
in which the free bare sweet life
is according to everyone's desire
Nothing is exchangeable for me
with a flame of lovesickness.
The insurance fever is widespread
and all of my worldmates!
are supersonically rushing towards
the banks and the saves
but nothing can save and insure
my evergreen grieves.
How much does my anxiety cost?
for everyone but you, my dearest
it's not worth even a black penny, I know.
My future is lost
and I'm is missing
and I'm patiently waiting for
that Promised Friday Morning
in which I will be found
in your graceful arms.

“Salam” means soundness; well-being; unimpaired mode ; intactness; peacefulness; safety; security; peace.
“Salam” is a common greeting and salutation in Islamic nations
“Salam” is one of God’s names
“Salam” is the language of settlers of paradise
“Salam” means “I’m in peace with you”; “be in peace with God” “may God safe you” ; “may God help and preserve you”
“Salam” means I Love You because you Love God and his Apostles
and Islam means we love each other
“Taslim” means submission; reconciliation
“Muslim” means safe and sound person; secured and protected by God’s power;

The Gold Mine

Our city, Zarghan,is the very gold mine, as the past
Zarghan is a town in Fars province of the glorious IRAN.
My city is located between two famous cities of shiraz and persepolise.
Zarghan is a combinaton of two words :''zar '' and ''ghan''
Zar in Farsi means gold ;
and ''ghan'' is the Arabic form of ''kaan'' means mine
so Zarghan means the mine of gold
but there isnt any gold mine in our city
the real gold of my city is its people.
some years ago i composed a farsi poem about my golden city ,
which begins with this line:
زرقان ما هنوز همان معدن زر است
and the title of this entry is a free English translation of this.
Two other equivalent names of Zarghan,
in written English and official documents,
are Zarqan and Zargan .
The above imege is also an air view of my city zarghan
which is taken by earth google.
Whatever my city is, I love it and its nice and kind people.

Love has different meanings and levels
The lowest level of love is known as sexual pleasures, especially between unmarried couples, according to some cultures LOVE is only this unbridled lusty desire,
And a Lover is a lustful man,
And a Beloved is a prostitute woman, or a girl friend that may have more than one mate. But the LOVE we point to is a heavenly relationship between:
1- Married (or engaged) couples.
2- Parents and their children
3- Relative families
4- Human beings
5- Mankind and all creatures of God
6- Believers and prophets
7- Creatures and Creator (Allah) that is the highest level of LOVE
So when we versify LOVE or speak about it, we are considering these 7 meanings.

Regarding to your problematic cartoons there is no doubt in two subjects:
1- You are in mistake about Islam.
2- You are completely right about some of Muslims.
I, as a Muslim, approve some of your themes; but I have not the same opinion about all of your works.
Your cartoon reminds me a wildish massacre in the history of Islam:
A cruel Muslim king whose crown was decorated with the name of the holy prophet of Islam (as one of your cartoons) killed a loyal, honest, faithful family,
And rode horses on their headless-bodies,
And ordered to play with their heads,
And even killed their six-month-old baby,
And set their tints in fire,
And arrested their women and children, as slaves,
And moved them for forty days from a city to another,
While the holy cut heads of their men were among them, at the top spears,
And caused people (Muslims) to throw stones toward them,
And wanted the Muslims to mock and laughing at them,
And … and … and…,
When they were killed, all of them were thirsty near two rivers of Tigris and Euphrates.

And what shall I say about them?
But I have a question?
Do you know that innocent oppressed martyr and his family?
His name was Hussein, the dear grandchild of the holy prophet of Islam
He was one of the sons of prophet’s daughter.
If you read the history of Islam you will find more samples.
In fact all of our Imams (except the last Imam) were killed by despotic Muslim rulers.

1- Islam, as the other holy religions, has been usually used as an instrument by tyrants and terrorists to deceive and plunder the people.
2- We are not terrorists; we have always been victims of those terrorists.
3- Islam is a celestial gift of God to all people, and surely God protect it from all dangers,
4- Attacks of our enemies have been made us stronger during the past centuries.
4- If you are our enemy, do your best and continuously attack us by poisonous pens; and if not (surely this is true) be more fair, aware and careful about Islam and other religions.
